amber, lucas and little ryder joined me on a beautiful monday evening. the vedder river is one of my favourite locations being so green and luscious but also has a little urban edge to it with the train bridge. the light was to die for and i couldn't have imagined a better evening. i'm very much looking forward to their october wedding :)
when brandon and courtney messaged me asking if i was interested in capturing their wedding day, i didn't hesitate to say yes! i took brandon's brother's wedding photos 2 years ago and it was so great to catch up with the powers brothers again (we first met at bible school in austria back in 2012).brandon and courtney's day was just perfect. it was a brisk october morning as courtney and her bridesmaids got ready in the cute bridal cottage and as the wedding planner put the final touches for the ceremony and reception. these two had the cutest first look and could not wipe the smiles off their faces the entire day. the kelley farm was the most beautiful location. the views combined with the rustic barn and the multiple chandeliers were to die for.this day was wonderful and i'm so happy i was a part of it. brandon & courtney, i wish you two all the best.
andrew and chanessa's day was just perfect. the weather was great, the locations were beautiful, there was no dry eye during their vows, and had the most epic dance moves i had ever seen!
these two decided to do a first look with just themselves in the middle of a forest and it was the cutest!

celebrating a 50th anniversary is a wonderful reason for family portraits. combine that with a beautiful summer weather and that makes a perfect evening. :)
every session should be at golden hour in the trees by the river, just sayin'. karly is such a beautiful mama and i'm so excited for her little family that is growing. congratulations karly and connor! i'm looking forward to meeting this little one!
