how special it is to be invited into a family and be there to celebrate a 60th wedding anniversary. the stories, the laughs, the tears. i enjoyed spending the afternoon with this family. happy 60th anniversary to len and gert, you have been blessed with a beautiful family.
there's something about grad sessions that make me smile. maybe it's the excitement from the grad, the beautiful dress she's wearing or the smiles everyone has the whole day. i loved photographing cherysh and her family! this family is no stranger to the blog either, i've done 2 engagement sessions (here and here) and now 2 prom sessions with this family (you can find the first one here)! also, in september, i will be adding a wedding to that list!congratulations cherysh! i wish you all the best in your bright future!thanks to oldhand coffee for giving cherysh the VIP treatment :)

there's nothing i love more than golden light and a couple in love. these two met when julia switched schools. alvin came into class a little late and julia, assuming he was new as well, decided to befriend him. almost 9 years later, they are head over heels and getting married this june. looking forward to their summer wedding.
a couple weeks ago before autumn really hit, i was able to hang out with this wonderful family. i love family sessions. the laughter, the smiles, and many, many photos. from under the train bridge to the trees in macdonald park. we caught some beautiful evening light and i captured the love between this family.
that moment when you realize your younger cousin isn't so little anymore. it's been a pleasure seeing this young man grow up over the last 18 years. congratulations on your graduation, jesse! i look forward to seeing photos of your capernwray adventures next year!
