we hiked up a mountain to a cross and the 360 view was incredible. even though it was super cold and windy. it was definitely worth it.

two dear friends, carina and laura, and i went to the top of a parking lot during the sunset after the first snowfall. it was beautiful to say the least.

schladming: first snowfall.

october 15th. first snowfall at bible school = first snowball fight. the snow makes me so happy. i don't know if there is any other weather that makes me as happy as snow does. it makes everything so much more magical and being in a different country, where it's beautiful everywhere and you don't think it could get any more beautiful and then it snows and it's so much better! my good friend, cassandra and i like to go on snow adventures together. these photos are from our walk.

schladming: hike up to the guttenberghaus.

on friday afternoon, i decided that i would hike up a mountain that was a 2.5 hour hike and up 800m. my legs are definitely feeling it today. me and two other girls were the last of our group to make it up and i think we did it just under 2.5 hours. at the top we were 2134m high. some others went higher up the mountain but my legs answered that question for me. it was beautiful day yesterday and well, the view was worth the 5 blisters on my feet.

schladming: the changing colors of autumn.

can i just say, i think autumn is my favorite season. but i think i say that to every season when it's just starting.the colors here in schladming are sooo beautiful, it just takes my breath away. yesterday, it had lightly rained and i had always wanted to take some photos of a tree behind our lecture hall because of it's bright yellow leaves. on the way there i was stopped by the raindrops on the grass and the leaves. i couldn't believe what i saw. it was all just so exciting and of course i had my camera so i took many photos. the raindrops were like glass, so perfect. it made me happy :)
